Our History

The Cosulich family has been linked to the field of chemicals and petrochemicals transportation since 1919 when Dott. Arturo Cosulich graduated in Chemistry from Genoa University in Italy.
In 1952 Dott. Giorgio Cosulich, son of Arturo, founded the first private chemical laboratory “Cosulich Chemical Laboratory” serving the port of Genoa and carrying out qualitative controls on chemicals and petrochemicals cargoes transported by sea for ENI, ESSO and many other early players in the market. In 1973 Dott. Ing. Riccardo Cosulich, son of Giorgio, joined the company and whilst consolidating the historical operations of the laboratory, he constantly amplified the spectrum of services provided by Lab Cosulich Consultants. Today Lab Cosulich Consultants, “LCC”, is a truly international consultancy firm providing high quality, tailor-made services for the biggest players in the marine and energy industries.
